State Highlights

Maine public and private schools currently offer online courses at their discretion in some grades using online course providers of their choosing.

The AP4ALL program provides 11th & 12th grade public school students with free, online AP courses across the state.

These are delivered virtually through a learning management system.

The program is currently offering 25 AP courses and in the 2014-15 school year is serving just over 350 students statewide.

The Maine Learning Technology Initiative provides, at no cost, teacher professional development to Maine teachers in online and blended learning.

Maine's AP4ALL.org online courses program also provides online course professional development for instructors who teach AP4ALL courses.
