State Highlights
- Maine public and private schools currently offer online courses at their discretion in some grades using online course providers of their choosing.
- The AP4ALL program provides 11th & 12th grade public school students with free, online AP courses across the state.
- These are delivered virtually through a learning management system.
- The program is currently offering 25 AP courses and in the 2014-15 school year is serving just over 350 students statewide.
- The Maine Learning Technology Initiative provides, at no cost, teacher professional development to Maine teachers in online and blended learning.
- Maine's AP4ALL.org online courses program also provides online course professional development for instructors who teach AP4ALL courses.
